Fort Whyte Centre
Fort Whyte Centre is one of Canada's premier privately operated, non-profit, outdoor education and recreation facilities. Just 20 minutes from the heart of Manitoba's capital, Winnipeg, Fort Whyte features over 400 acres of woodlands, wetlands, grasslands and lakes. The buildings and select trails are wheelchair accessible. They have Older Adult Programs.

Meals on Wheels
Meals on Wheels of Winnipeg, Inc. has a long history of service to Winnipeggers. The first meals were delivered in June of 1965 and since that time the program has grown. Today we have more than 800 volunteers who deliver meals to a client list that over the course of a year exceeds 1000 clients.

Winnipeg Free Press
Yes, even the newspaper is online! Recently, the Free Press has limited access to the site. Everyone can see items in grey at the bottom of the left navigation column. 7 day subscribers have full access.

Winnipeg Transit
schedules and maps, handi-transit info, Telebus and more. Not the most intuitive for schedules: after you choose a route, look at a map, then see the timetable. Telebus may give you more accurate times.

Winnipeg Art Gallery
Established in 1912, the Winnipeg Art Gallery is Western Canada’s oldest public art gallery, mandated to develop and maintain Manitoba’s visual arts heritage. As one of Canada’s leading galleries, it collects and exhibits works of art by Manitoba, Canadian, and international artists.
